  • Do I need to buy a meal plan?
Any student enrolled at East Stroudsburg University may sign up for a meal plan. Please note that students living in on-campus housing are required to purchase either the 19 Premium, 15 Premium, 10 Premium or the 175 Block plan as stated in your housing agreement. Students not living in on-campus housing may choose any meal plan they wish.

  • Will my meal plan auto renew for next semester?
If you are a student living in on-campus housing, required to have a meal plan you will be automatically enrolled in your meal plan in the spring semester as long as you’re enrolled in a Premium Plan. If you’re living on-campus and have selected our resident Block plan, you will need to go in your MyESU portal and opt-in for the spring semester. If you do not go back into your Portal and select the block, you will receive the Premium 19, our default plan for on-campus residents.

However, all other students will need to go back into your MyESU portal and reapply your meal plan for the spring semester.

  • Will unused meal plans or DB roll over to a future semester or year?
It depends on which meal plan you have. If you have a Premium Meal Plan, the meals must be used in that week, and they do not carry over to the next week. Every Monday morning starts a new week of meals that must be used by Sunday late night. However, if you have a Block Meal Plan, you have a set number of meals to use for the entire semester. Block Meal Plans do not carry over to the next semester.

Unused Dining Dollars rollover from the fall semester to the spring semester, but Dining Dollars expire at the end of the spring semester.

  • If I have already purchased a meal plan, can I change it?
Yes, during the first two weeks of the semester, you have the opportunity to change your Dining Membership. Simply go to the myESU portal, sign in, and adjust your meal plan to your liking. Your student account will then be adjusted accordingly. Having trouble...please contact us at 570-422-3998.

Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.
